Celebrating 50 Years of Earth Day!

Did you know that April 22nd marks the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day?  As we adapt to the restrictions of social distancing, one thing we can celebrate is our shrinking carbon footprint. During this newfound journey, we are here to serve our clients today and tomorrow building energy-efficient homes designed to soak in natural light and ventilation. Modular construction maximizes the use of building materials and utilizes waste to energy practices which means far less waste in landfills.  A tighter building envelope combined with the insulation package we include in each home means greater energy efficiency and savings for the homeowner. Our homes are better for the families living in them and for our environment. Current Projects: Connecticut Valley Homes Makes Every Square Inch Count

A view to die for and only a 26' X 26' footprint to take advantage of the beautiful Rhode Island coastline. That was the design challenge presented to Connecticut Valley Homes and the skeptical owners assumed their wish list might be too long to be accommodated. They hoped, but doubted, that everything they wanted to include, like a designer kitchen and adequate storage, would fit into the maximum 1352 square feet. The exterior was just as critical as the interior and even with height restrictions and other site limitations, their new home needed to have character and charm, plus fit in with the other shingle style homes in the neighborhood.

Good home design makes a smaller space feel generous and provides ample storage. The bright and open layout designed by Connecticut Valley makes use of every square inch creating living space that is perfect for both relaxing and entertaining. The satisfied owners feel that this home will increase the value of their waterfront building lot and be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
