Here Are Some Helpful Tips To Beat The Heat During This Summer Heatwave In Connecticut

 These temperatures aren't just uncomfortable, they can actually be dangerous. It's important for folks to try and stay cool, and that can sometimes be a challenge.




 
Most importantly - Drink lots Of Fluids! Another clever way to beat the heat is to eat a lot of cool food like salads and gazpacho.It's always a great idea to have ice cream in the freezer in the summertime.






During a heat wave, cooking and household chores have to get done. To take on the tasks as the temperature tops 90 degrees, keep the lights off as long as possible, then get to work, saving the tough tasks for when it's dark. Not only does it cool down for the night, but it's cool most of the year in Connecticut, but for those few hot months try to Relax during the daytime.
