Celebrating 50 Years of Earth Day!

Did you know that April 22nd marks the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day?  As we adapt to the restrictions of social distancing, one thing we can celebrate is our shrinking carbon footprint. During this newfound journey, we are here to serve our clients today and tomorrow building energy-efficient homes designed to soak in natural light and ventilation. Modular construction maximizes the use of building materials and utilizes waste to energy practices which means far less waste in landfills.  A tighter building envelope combined with the insulation package we include in each home means greater energy efficiency and savings for the homeowner. Our homes are better for the families living in them and for our environment. Connecticut Valley Homes Continues Its 2018 Award Winning Legacy

BUILDER OF THE YEAR

On November 17, 2018, the philosophy to “build a well-designed, quality constructed house that is a joy to live in” was recognized when Connecticut Valley Homes was awarded Builder of the Year by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Eastern CT during the 61st Annual Gala and Awards Ceremony. This coveted award recognizes custom builders for innovative achievements, professional leadership, and creativity.

Incoming President, Craig Caulkins, of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Eastern CT, presented the award to Richard Wildermuth, President of CT Valley Homes, who accepted with these heartfelt words. "We are so honored to receive this recognition for our work.  We are huge supporters of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Eastern CT and their education, community and training efforts; we take advantage of all that they offer.  I would also like to thank not only our founder and visionary, Catherine Taylor, but also our employees, many who have over 20 and 30 years with the company."

HOME OF THE MONTH

However, Builder of the Year wasn’t the only award bestowed upon CT Valley Homes before year’s end. Recognition came from the Modular Home Builders Association when one of our custom homes was chosen as the December 2018 Home of the Month December 2018 Home of the Month. The contemporary beachfront home with rooftop deck was designed by our own Catherine Taylor, Vice President of CT Valley Homes.

OUR GOALS

When CT Valley Homes began state-of-the-art modular construction almost 40 years ago, these ideals were set in place for our customers:

To construct a better-built home with exacting precision in an optimal, climate-controlled environment.
Have more control over the building process with the systemic advantage of assembly line construction resulting in no weather delays, theft and vandalism, or conflicts with trade partners.
The opportunity to review every detail of the home and finalize the total cost of the build prior to construction on the home begins.

As a recipient of these prestigious awards, Connecticut Valley Homes exemplifies these goals and expertise with a commitment to the highest standards in building the communities where we live and work.

Since 1981 we have been a part of designing and constructing almost 1,600 homes with over 50% of our business from referrals. We are dedicated to creating a home that is designed for your lifestyle and needs while simplifying the building process for each and every client from floor plan, design, and construction to move in.
